Do public figures have an obligation to be out? Comedian and writer Guy Branum argued in the Huffington Post that it is important for public figures like Nate Silver to be out. Angie speaks with Guy about his article and is then joined by legal director of Marriage Eqality USA, John Lewis, author and gender theorist Kate Bornstein, and NLGJA NorCal Chapter President and journalist Maria De La O in a panel discussion of whether people have an obligation to publicly identify, the benefits of being out to individuals and the community and who may be made invisible.
