LinearBob:
I wonder if KRXA has a GPS or WWVB clock? I mean, this is +1 minute and counting.
Tuesday December 8, 2009 6:01 LinearBob
6:02
LinearBob:

I guess this place will do. But we've got to do something about those drapes.
Tuesday December 8, 2009 6:02 Norm in S.F.
6:04
Norm in S.F.:
What a relief to hear CBS instead of CNN. Almost washed the Karel out of my ears.

Tuesday December 8, 2009 6:04 Martha
6:04
LinearBob:
Hi Gordon. Don't mind me. I'm a nit-picker for stuff like that, having come from a place where dead air matters. I'm suspect Norm has a similar awareness of the time as the clock approaches straight up.

[Comment From PorrickPorrick: ]
Well I'll be damned... It works!
Tuesday December 8, 2009 6:04 Porrick

Tuesday December 8, 2009 6:06 Porrick
6:06
Norm in S.F.:
I feel like I always did at the end of a shift, LBob. Whatever goes wrong now, it isn't my responsibility.
Tuesday December 8, 2009 6:06 Norm in S.F.
6:07
LinearBob:
Norm -- Do I ever know that feeling! Been there.
Tuesday December 8, 2009 6:07 LinearBob
6:07

It must be the leftover Catholic in me, but I always feel like it was my responsibility.

Angie -- I keep thinking this is the Catholic Church's attempt to force their views on everyone as a form of "poison pill". They are willing to put all of the health care legilation at risk, "daring" folks on our side of the issue to say, "Enough is enough. No!"

At the urging of her publisher, Ehrenreich, a writer and newspaper columnist, worked a string of service and hospitality jobs in Florida, Maine and Minnesota. Her journalist’s portrait of life on the minimum-wage—as a waitress, domestic cleaner, hotel room-attendant and Wal-Mart “associate”—for as little as $2.30 an hour, became a national best-seller in the United States. The plight of the working poor, Ehrenreich concluded, was an epidemic “state of emergency

yeah Pythos, she's a piece of work. Unfortunately Thom doesn't really know how to box her in... he almost had her really boxed in several weeks ago.... I was listening in the shower... had something to do with health care in Europe.... but he didn't do it. Of course none of those cons would come back on the show if Thom really exposed their BS.
