As you know, I am a little alternative with my style presentation.

I do not go about daily looking as I present myself here, as fun as that would be, it just is not practical.

However, I do go about in unusual styles, especially for a straight male.

I may be taking an awful risk here, but I feel I can trust members here.

this is an example of one of my more normal alternative styles.

Aside from one item presented all items are marketed as Masculine, or unisex. I wore this outfit for hanging with buddies for a gaming night. My friend and I went to restock the chips and snacks, and I got I think one "bad" look from this unpleasant looking gentlman. When at the store I had on my trench coat, that I let flow behind me like a cloak.

Aside from the social reason, can any of you say why this cannot be acceptable male attire?

For the first time in a long while it is one of my friends that is all hip on going out in costume. He is thinking about he his Fiance and myself going about SF in fancy costumes.

I am skeptical about this idea. Not that I don't like the costume aspect (though what I may wear will be my garb, lol with some mods). I just am really unsure of the city on New Years and costume. I thought there were some masquarade balls in SF, but I can find no info on such. I am gonna try to persuade him to going to my friend's party, even in costume if necessary.

Well any way, I need a little advice. I have several variations of my garb, one with (gasp!!) a white shirt (it is fancy though) :))

In the past couple of days I have been talking with some friends of mine about the issue of marriage. They are in the beginning stages of carrying this out.

The purchase of engagement rings has been done, and the date is getting close to being set.

I was chatting on FB with the female side of this equation while she bounced wedding theme ideas off my head. While we were talking I very jokingly suggested elements of the theme for my possible wedding (yes guys you can talk about such things without losing you "manliness" LOL). Well my idea was nutty. A gothy visual kie themed styled wedding, with the bride as the female side of a favored artist of mine, and me in the masculine version. Of course a prerequisite was that we two would have to love this artist.

Well after saying that, my friend said "well *insert real name here*, you have to remember, the wedding is about the bride."
